For years I have stating the obvious---
YOU get what you pay for--
Christmas is here sooner than you think and it is never too early to start thinking about what to purchase.
Bicycle, seems to always make the list, but stop and think about where are you going to make that purchase.
Your local bicycle shop is a the top of my life. Why??????
You the customer get more than a bike---you get the proper fitting, staff whom is knowledgeable, local community involvement, dollars stay local--
But the one major factor is you meet people whom are involved in the cycling world, cycle-cross, MTB, TT Bike, road bike--
You as the consumer get more than you bargain for in buying from a local bike shop --- 11 weeks till Christmas day..
Shops know about group rides, local trails, local routes, local teams and local atmosphere--

Bikes shops have been around for years--with nearly 5,000 in the USA, it seems everyone has a choice......Get out and see what I am talking about with local bicycle shops--you get service, quality, knowledge and expert quality.
I wrote a book which comes out Jan 15, 2015---2000 Miles on Wisdom---I rode from Indiana to Florida and a shop gave me superb service so well I had to write a business book on it.
